Thinking Space at the Tavistock Centre London, 30 Jan 2014 - Shadow Lives: Despair & Resilience in experiences of some Muslim Women & Children in the UK
What has been the impact of the War on Terror on the lives of Britain’s Muslim communities?
What is the psychological impact of being under suspicion, arrested, imprisoned or deported?
In this talk Victoria Brittain looks in particular at the experiences of some Muslim women and children in the UK whose husbands and fathers have been imprisoned, put under house arrest, or deported under anti‐terrorist legislation, but who have never been tried.
