Health and Social Care Conference 2013 21st March 2013

Health and Social Care Conference 2013 21st March 2013

Overview

The health service is currently undergoing an unprecedented period of transition following from the passing of the Health and Social Care Act in March 2012. As part of this Act, the NHS has changed its commissioning procedures, with frontline practitioners now charged with procuring patient services. Furthermore, a new NHS Commissioning Board has been setup, and will start its work from October 2012 to authorise and run Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) from April 2013.
With these, and many other reforms, including the changing nature of regulation in the health service, care and support in social care and an increased role for local government in healthcare, GovKnow are proud to present our 3rd Annual Health and Social Care Conference 2013. This annual conference will bring together over 200 key stakeholders working within and alongside the health service to discuss and debate the best way forward following on from the health reforms passed earlier this year.
