In his day long workshop,
Dr. Allan Schore, world renowned scholar in the fields of psychiatry,
psychology, psychoanalysis, developmental psychology, paediatrics and
trauma, will discuss the neuro-scientific basis of the mode of action
of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. He will offer two lectures which
draw upon his recently published volume, The Science of the Art of Psychotherapy,
which will include his latest models of attachment,
neuropsychoanalysis, traumatology and affective neuroscience. He will
provide explanations from the perspective of Regulation Theory, a model
of the development, psychopathogenesis and treatment of the implicit
self.
